I got a bad case of rhabdomyolysis today's post Pfizer vaccine, I was in it for 19 nights with dialysis with kidney failure heart failure and liver failure. I recovered however, I've had a relapses of acute kidney failure in hospitalized with IV fluids. I was diagnosed with covid a week ago with multiple symptoms however a week later I'm getting the worst dizzy spells ever. Now what I'm frustrated Help

How come I've seen this done a different way. I saw where for example if it's the left side you lay on the left side then roll onto your elbows with head down then onto the right side then on your back then sit up. I'm confused or is that another way to do it?

What if you do the maneuver on the wrong side?

I have Cosmic Vertigo. It makes me dizzy and extremely uneasy to think about the idea of infinite space. Sheesh.... hard to even type it.

Hi there! I’ve had vertigo since Monday, on and off for the last few days. I tried to reset today but when I laid down with my head to the right the dizziness was profound. I couldn’t hold the position, I felt so nauseous and horrible. It felt like it would not stop spinning. Did I not do it correctly? Should I try to do it again, even though it was so awful? Thank you!!

Its little dizzy when lying face turn right and no dizziness on left but when we get up to sitting position with face turn toward left it gets dizzy again am i eligible to follow this procedure?

Had problems with my head spinning when I lay down and nearly fell out of the bed turning on my side, because I was so dizzy. Did this once and it worked straight away - gobsmacked! Thank you so much!

Maybe you should mention what happens after you complete the Epley maneuver.

I did this exercise and it made the vertigo worse and I feel really nauseous. I wonder if I do it backwards,will it reverse things?

This is the clearest and most concise video I have found. Easy to understand, how to determine which side to treat, and precautions to not undo the treatment, combined with a easy to understand description of what the maneuver is actually doing. Excellent!

I have been experiencing minor headache in head movements after treated from bppv horizontal canal. I don't have any idea if this is common or I have to do more maneuver to fix this. Please help me in this.

I started getting vertigo a week ago, it seemed manageable until 3 days ago when it became debilitating. A week earlier an older woman told me she had the crystals and the Dr gave her exercises. Her words came back so I researched all thing vertigo. Your video's seemed the best so tried the epley maneuver, no change, tried the log roll next and it got so bad I was afraid to move. Now fearful to try any more I kept getting the nudge to keep looking. I found this one called Gufoni and when I sat up I knew I was much better. Not 100% but as the video says I will repeat it. Thank you for your work in giving us this information. It takes a heart dedicated to helping others to do all of this and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I deal with this periodically and had to revisit UA-cam for a refresher on how to do this maneuver. It does work! This is the second time it’s helped me.

Thank you for such a thorough and easy to follow video! Who knew I could do this at home??? This has been a life-saver; I'm out of town, no local doctors have appointments available for weeks, and I needed immediate help. I've had positional vertigo before, so knew what I had and which side, but have previously been dependent on seeing the doctor to fix it. Certainly, if I needed a doctor, I'd go to one. In this case, this was all I needed.

this is the doctor who can't see me until 2026. and is not scheduling any appointments whatever at this time, mid-20224.

Did I need to keep my eyes open while doing these maneuver? Actually it feels comfortable with closed eyes when vertigo/dizziness sets in..

It would be helpful to record the video testing for which side triggers vertigo first, then follow by the maneuver.

This is a great video and so thankful for it. This is my 3rd experience with vertigo in the past year including one 3 months ago. I noticed whem looking back on texts i sent my husband that it started out with diarrhea the night before. Have any of you experienced that? Does that indicate a viral or bacterial infection as the possible cause of vertigo?
